Welcome to NI Golf Tours, Northern Ireland’s tailor-made golf tour operator looking to provide golf enthusiasts from around the globe some of the most stunning, breathtaking and challenging courses in the world. We are a local based Tour Operator just a few miles from the World Famous Royal County Down, and have a lifetime of experience in the Irish golf industry from amateur to professional level. We specialize in Northern Ireland & East Coast of Ireland Golf Vacations, though will travel anywhere on the Island of Ireland. Northern Ireland Golf has never been in a better place than at the moment with three major winners (G-Mac, Darren Clarke and former world No 1 Rory McIlroy) all promoting the World Class Courses & facility’s we have to offer. In return Northern Ireland has been nicknamed the ‘Major Capital’ of golf. A truly astonishing feat for such a small country, as the percentage of golfers in N.Ireland is only 0.1% of total golf population and further to that we have two of the ten World’s Greatest Golf Courses. At NI Golf Tours we want to match the world class golf courses with a world class golf tour. We know how important it is to each group that the golf tour is run perfectly and the experience of golfing and staying here in Northern Ireland is truly unforgettable…..
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM EACH GOLF TOUR
As soon as you arrive in Ireland / N. Ireland we want you to relax and enjoy every moment knowing all the organising and stresses of a holiday are taken care off. We know each golf tour is different from the last and at NI Golf Tours we will tailor your tour down to the finest detail, from booking restaurant’s to visiting N.Ireland’s many tourist attractions. We see ourselves as a concierge service rather than a tour operator. That’s why we are Ireland’s only FULLY CHAUFFEURED golf provider. We will meet and greet you at the airport and take you to and from the golf course and hotel each day. At the end of the day you are here to sample the best golf Northern Ireland has to offer and we want your sole concern to be your game (that eight foot birdie putt). And if that doesn’t go to plan we are famous for some of the best “19th holes”, and of course the best pint of black stuff (Guinness) you’ll ever have!! NORTHERN IRELAND’S ATTRACTIONS IN BETWEEN GOLF
ST PATRICK’S CENTRE
The Centre is an exciting interpretative exhibition which tells the fascinating story of Ireland’s Patron Saint. Through Patrick’s own words a light is shone on the arrival of Christianity in Ireland and its development through his mission. A series of interactive displays allow visitors to explore how Patrick’s legacy developed in early Christian times and reveal the fabulous artwork and metalwork which was produced during this Golden Age. The exhibition also examines the major impact of Irish missionaries in Dark Age Europe – a legacy which remains to this day.
The newly opened Titanic Belfast® is an unmissable visit in any tour of Northern Ireland. It is located in the heart of Belfast, on the slipways where RMS Titanic was built. Titanic Belfast® extends over nine galleries, with multiple dimensions to the exhibition, drawing together special effects, dark rides, full-scale reconstructions and innovative interactive features to explore the Titanic story in a fresh and insightful way; from her conception in Belfast in the early 1900s, through her construction and launch, to her infamous maiden voyage and catastrophic demise. The journey goes beyond the aftermath of the sinking, to the discovery of the wreck and continues into the present day with a live undersea exploration centre.
Volcanic crashing and burning, sixty million years ago, led to the formation of the Giant’s Causeway, a coastline that has inspired artists, stirred debate amongst scientists and captivated the imagination of locals and visitors for centuries. Made up of nearly 40,000 basalt columns that stretch out to sea, the formation of this strange landscape can be explained by science. Locals, however, have their own story to tell. They say the Giant’s Causeway was the stomping ground of the giant Finn McCool, who lived in these parts nearly two thousand years ago and he certainly left his mark. You can still see evidence of this in the landscape today. Come to the brand new Giant’s Causeway Visitor Experience and explore the science, myth and legends that surround this magical place.
